Polymers are everywhere in our everyday lives, but governments have begun to take action to prevent the increasingly negative effects of polymer waste and protect our environment. Some countries already require recycling of a certain percentage of the most frequently occurring polymer waste, with a focus on separation and reuse of plastic waste such as packaging materials, cups, containers, and more.
As with most any environmentally friendly initiative, there are challenges. To manage and maintain polymer recycling initiatives at scale, identification of the polymer needs to be fast and easy, as well as (perhaps most importantly for community recycling budgets) economical.
ACCURATE ANALYSIS WITH KROMA
